As an HD Mechanic for the Mobile Maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile equipment in the Pilbara. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of mobile equipment, including Komastu 930E and CAT 793F dump trucks and autonomous mining equipment, while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Duties:

Maintain large-scale Mining Equipment, with a preference for Komastu 930E and CAT 793F dump trucks
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment
Execute workshop and pit duties as required, contributing to overall operational efficiency
Collaborate effectively with all mobile maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance and seamless operation of mining activities
Adhere to all Fortescue and site operational procedures and policies
Conduct inspections and repairs on electrical systems while following established procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Coordinate and communicate effectively with the team to integrate mechanical maintenance and repairs into overall operations
