About this role

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, and actively participate in the company's HSE systems and procedures.
Manage the steam and water cycle chemistry, chemical programs, and water treatment plants, including Reverse Osmosis and wastewater systems.
Oversee the care, preventative maintenance, and operation of laboratory and field equipment.
Lead the Site Chemical Technician team, providing expert chemistry advice and supporting plant operations.
Manage chemical procurement, distribution, and oversee chemical plant modifications and upgrades.
Coordinate hazardous materials, SDS register, dangerous goods, environmental monitoring, and reporting for the Power Station.
Lead incident analysis, identify root causes for continuous improvement, and contribute to budget management and development.

Is this you?

Skills & Experience:

Science, Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Degree
Experience in the power industry in a station / heavy industry chemistry role
Implementation and optimisation of boiler and chemical dosing, sampling, and monitoring regimes
