Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Package Lead to join our clients Battery Electric Locomotive project.

About this role

  • Coordinate daily engineering tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project and program objectives
  • Track progress and proactively address any issues or delays during project execution
  • Lead the development of detailed work plans for technical packages, working closely with relevant stakeholders to support integrated engineering schedules and progress tracking
  • Assist in streamlining engineering processes and workflows to enhance team efficiency, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions
  • Consolidate inputs from product and systems teams into the overall engineering project plan and reports
  • Support Project Managers in earned value analysis and program budget tracking
  • Assist in planning and facilitating technical workshops and stakeholder consultations as required by the CPE, EDM, and System Leads
  • Compile engineering progress reports, milestone documentation, and gateway deliverables in collaboration with technical teams
  • Serve as the primary engineering system point of contact for interfaces with build and test teams, quality assurance, and other key stakeholders
  • Escalate risks and issues to the EDM and CPE in a timely manner
  • Facilitate technical conflict resolution between stakeholders to drive project success

Is this you?

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in engineering operations or project management essential
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations
  • Strong interdisciplinary technical knowledge
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
