Introduction

A leading energy operator is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Asset Management Consultant for a 24-month contract to support and enhance their S/4HANA Programme. This role involves guiding the design, implementation, and management of Asset Management solutions within the S/4HANA ecosystem, providing technical advice, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust integration across modules.

What are you going to do 

The Senior SAP S/4HANA Asset Management Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and implementation of Asset Management solutions within S/4HANA.
  • Advising on best practices and future technical structures to ensure solutions align with business needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Logistics, and Finance, to integrate Asset Management requirements.
  • Offering expertise in SAP Asset Management solutions and identifying potential opportunities within the S/4HANA Program.
  • Supporting data migration efforts and ensuring Asset Management considerations are integrated across related functions.
  • Mentoring the Operations team to build in-house expertise, preparing them to become S/4HANA super users for Asset Management.

Essential skills and knowledge 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 12+ years of consulting experience in SAP Plant Maintenance/Asset Management.
  • Cross-functional knowledge of S/4HANA modules, including Procurement, Finance, HCM, and Logistics.
  • Proven experience in S/4HANA implementations within the energy industry.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant SAP certifications and familiarity with industry standards and best practices in asset management.
