What are you going to do 

  • Leads the system subproject, is responsible for its deliverables, and manages the team working on it.
  • Coordinates and manages the work of R&D contributors on the project and is responsible for detailed timelines and budget.
  • Prepares and manages R&D expenses and budget according to specific projects.
  • Coordinates meetings with project managers, system engineers, and customers.
  • Analyses customer requirements together with the Requirement Engineer (customer specifications and Sys/SW requirements specifications).
  • Coordinates specification reviews within the R&D department (SW PM, System Engineer, PM).
  • Updates the project timeline and R&D tasks on a daily basis.
  • Coordinates project steps with representatives of the System, Software, Mechatronic, and System Validation sub-projects.
  • Represents the main point of contact for the customer´s R&D in cooperation with the company R&D resident engineer.
  • Creates regular presentations for management.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, IT, or a related field).
  • Experience in technical management of R&D projects in the automotive or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering and software/hardware development.
  • Experience with analysing and specifying requirements (customer specifications, Sys/SW requirements).
  • Ability to lead a team and coordinate various sub-projects within complex technical projects.
  • Experience in creating and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders (customers, management, suppliers).
  • Fluent English for communication with international teams and customers.
