Introduction
What are you going to do
- Lead HSE activities across various offshore projects, providing risk-based leadership and compliance oversight.
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure safety standards are met, and risk management processes are effectively implemented.
- Assuring, verifying and influencing Contractor's work product and practices to ensure conformance and compliance to approved plans.
- Providing support to the Project team for implementation of Company HSE Management requirements and Verification Plan activities.
- Leading Company training and awareness programs as required.
- Supporting and coordinating Company led Health and Safety activities.
- Management of Company event reporting system for all Project related events, investigation findings and actions.
- Participating in incident investigations and 'root cause' analysis
Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- Strong background in HSE within oil and gas, with site-based (offshore) experience in Australia.
- Site-based construction (offshore) experience in Australia.
- Tbosiet and MSIC certifications are required
- Ability to travel for up to 3 weeks during project phases.
- Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis
- A thorough understanding of all relevant WA Health and Safety Legislation and Safety Case regime
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
