Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Lead HSE activities across various offshore projects, providing risk-based leadership and compliance oversight.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure safety standards are met, and risk management processes are effectively implemented.
  • Assuring, verifying and influencing Contractor's work product and practices to ensure conformance and compliance to approved plans.
  • Providing support to the Project team for implementation of Company HSE Management requirements and Verification Plan activities.
  • Leading Company training and awareness programs as required.
  • Supporting and coordinating Company led Health and Safety activities.
  • Management of Company event reporting system for all Project related events, investigation findings and actions.
  • Participating in incident investigations and 'root cause' analysis

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
  • Strong background in HSE within oil and gas, with site-based (offshore) experience in Australia.
  • Site-based construction (offshore) experience in Australia.
  • Tbosiet and MSIC certifications are required
  • Ability to travel for up to 3 weeks during project phases.
  • Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • A thorough understanding of all relevant WA Health and Safety Legislation and Safety Case regime
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
