Introduction

We have partnered with a global leader in green energy transformation on a major Decarbonisation Project in the Pilbara. This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to contribute to a pioneering initiative focused on achieving net-zero emissions. This role offers a 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth and also provides potential for future opportunities within the company.

What are you going to do 

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the safe and efficient delivery of electrical works for the Decarbonisation project, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Using your mining construction expertise, you will support contractors, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive project success. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to build strong relationships and drive the successful delivery of key responsibilities, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multiple contracting companies and projects on-site
  • Review and approve Contractor Inspection and Test sheets
  • Conduct punch list walkdowns and manage isolation requirements
  • Interpret and review project drawings and documentation
  • Liaise with Superintendents, Site Teams, Contractors, and Stakeholders
  • Work closely with Commissioning teams for handover and SIMOPS
  • Conduct Field Leadership activities and ensure compliance with BMS obligations
  • Maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Lead and support workforce development, training, and mentoring
  • Ensure all activities align with safety regulations, Australian standards, and codes of practice

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • WA A Grade Electrical licence
  • High Voltage Switching certificate
  • Current CPR/ LVR and First Aid certificate
  • Valid Driver's Licence (Minimum C Class)
  • Certificate IV in Instrumentation
  • 10+ years post-trade experience, with 5+ years in a supervisory role in mining
  • Experience in mining construction projects
  • Expertise in fibre and communications networks & completions management systems
  • Experience in High Voltage distribution networks (overhead & underground)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, and HS&E compliance
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, risk management, and zero harm
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
