Introduction

As the Enterprise Content Management System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of information and knowledge management services for your local council.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist management with ECM system administration, offering guidance and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with records management laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Serve as a resource for records and knowledge management information.
  • Advise on document destruction and retention per Queensland State Archives Governance Policy.
  • Perform system testing and technical analysis of changes.
  • Support departmental project activities.
  • Configure and optimise ECM system to align with Council requirements.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls for data security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ECM technical issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update ECM documentation for transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with cross-functional teams.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in delivering enterprise content management system administration and advice.
  • Ability to diagnose technical and process issues related to system administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (desktop and online programs).
  • Cert IV or Graduate Diploma in recordkeeping or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to design and develop work instructions.
  • Engage with end users to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Good people and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong focus on delivering quality customer service.
