Introduction

Brunel is working closely with a UK renewable energy developer expanding into Australia. As a Project Development Manager, you'll support senior managers and the Country Head in driving the development of large-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This role offers hands-on experience in renewable energy development, including assisting in building financial models and supporting key development activities.

What are you going to do 

  • Assist senior managers in project development activities for solar and BESS projects.
  • Support the Country Head with market research, due diligence, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Help maintain financial models for project evaluation.
  • Assist with project documentation, permitting, and regulatory processes.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and external contractors.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial models or a willingness to learn.
  • Keen interest in renewable energy and project development.

Experience:

  • Experience in project development or renewable energy is preferred but not essential.
