Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leader within the Energy / Oil & Gas industry, Brunel has an exciting 12 month contract for an Fleet Officer located in Darwin. Please note, that the position is open to local residential candidates of Darwin, NT.

What are you going to do 

Supporting the Onshore Operations, an insight into your responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking and coordinating vehicle servicing
  • Recording vehicle pre-starts and coordinating ad hoc repairs
  • Driver and vehicle authorisations and site controls
  • Liaising with Fleet Team and Mechanic
  • Understanding Lease agreements and working with Contracts & Procurement Team
  • Bussing focal and management
  • Work towards process improvement and digitalising paper-based vehicle forms
  • Build and maintain positive and productive relationships
  • Prepare and distribute various reports, presentations and communications
  • Support the Vehicle Management System including compliance requirements and ensure any maintenance and repair activities are actioned in a timely manner
  • Support employee and vendor onboarding stage supplementary workforce portal, PPE procurement and desk allocation where required
  • Support the planning and execution of Technical and Corporate site visits and events

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Year 12 – Certificate IV or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the Resources sector is desirable
  • “Super User” level in MS Office Suite and high level of competence or aptitude in other relevant applications, ie SAP, Vision
  • Document Control including document numbering and revision control desirable
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and work under pressure
  • High level of attention to detail
