Introduction

We are seeking a Design and Drafting Advisor to join our clients team and support their Assets Acquisition Process by providing complex CAD drafting and technical expertise for vital wastewater and water engineering projects.

About this role

What the role will involve:

Complex Drafting & Design: Prepare detailed design drawings and calculations for wastewater and water projects, ensuring technical accuracy.
Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and calculate data for design drawings to support the capital works program.
3D Visualization: Present designs and concepts in a 3D visualization environment to key project stakeholders.
Standards Compliance: Ensure all drawings meet Corporation drafting and drawing management standards.
Project Management: Maintain project workflow through personal scheduling to ensure milestones and budgets are met.
Technical Support: Provide expert assistance to engineers and project managers on technical aspects of projects.

Is this you?

A qualification in engineering, drafting, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in infrastructure design and drafting services, including drafting, illustration, and presentation skills.
Strong experience using Autodesk drawing packages, such as AutoCAD 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
In-depth knowledge of engineering software applications, mapping, and drawing management systems.
