Introduction

We are currently seeking a Commercial Property Advisor to join our clients global workplace team. The Commercial Property Advisor will be responsible for managing the commercial property portfolio for a tier one mining business, ensuring safety, optimising asset and contractor performance, executing workplace projects, handling transactions, and designing modern work environments. Please note this is not a Real Estate sales related role.

About this role

As the Commercial Property Advisor, you will be responsible for interpreting business needs, delivering strategy, and managing contracts that align with objectives. You will have a strong expertise in customer-supplier relationships and strategic procurement in enterprises. You will also be expected to maintain a deep understanding of the mining industry and its unique challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the commercial property portfolio for a tier one mining business
  • Ensuring safety and optimizing asset and contractor performance
  • Executing workplace projects, handling transactions, and designing modern work environments
  • Interpreting business needs and delivering strategy
  • Managing contracts that align with objectives
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the mining industry and its unique challenges
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers

Is this you?

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in business, real estate, or a related field would be beneficial but is not essential
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial property management
  • Strong expertise in customer-supplier relationships and strategic procurement in enterprises
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A deep understanding of the mining industry and its unique challenges
  • Experience managing a commercial property portfolio for a tier one mining business
  • A track record of delivering successful workplace projects, transactions, and modern work environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to interpret business needs and deliver strategy
  • The ability to manage contracts that align with objectives
  • You must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role
