Join a leading tier one mining business in the heart of Perth, Australia as an Operational Readiness Advisor on a 12-month contract. This role is perfect for those with experience in rail operations and offers the chance to provide pivotal support within our client's Sustaining Capital arm of the business

About this role

  • Collaborate with project teams ensuring operational readiness requirements are seamlessly integrated.
  • Support change management processes while assessing impacts across various functions.
  • Contribute to asset management strategies alongside Master Data and Long-Term Planning teams aiding smooth transitions during asset handovers.
  • Manage communications between vendors, stakeholders, inventory personnel focusing on critical spares needed post-commissioning.
  • Coordinate training initiatives guaranteeing all involved parties have requisite competencies pre-and-post commissioning phases.
  • You must possess current Australian working rights along side 'C' class driver's license enabling ad-hoc travel if required.

This position will allow you not only enhance your expertise but also work closely with dedicated professionals at our client's CBD based office

Requirements:

  • Rail Operations Experience: A robust understanding of rail systems necessary for sustaining high levels of efficiency within multi-disciplinary projects related to asset management
  • Knowledge: Proficiency preferred in developing long-term planning tactics tailored specifically towards heavy mobile equipment used extensively throughout our industry sector Risk Management
  • Process Familiarity: Prior exposure desired involving Functional Safety & HAZOP risk assessment methodologies which play crucial roles when managing safety protocols
  • You must possess current Australian working rights along side 'C' class driver's license enabling ad-hoc travel if required.
