Welding Lead Inspector (w/m/d)

As a Lead Welding Inspector at Brunel International, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of welding operations on Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) projects. Your role will involve conducting inspections, evaluating weldments, and providing technical guidance to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and welding teams to uphold quality standards and drive project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably in the FPSO industry- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, codes, and standards (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Sec. IX)
- Experience with non-destructive testing methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT)- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
