Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Conduct NDT inspections using techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Inspection (VT).
  • Review and interpret test results, technical specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection records, reports, and documentation in compliance with quality assurance procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices while performing inspections.
  • Train and mentor junior NDT personnel as required.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Level 2 certification in NDT methods (e.g., ASNT, PCN, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in NDT, preferably in offshore oil and gas environments.
  • Strong understanding of FPSO operations and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
