Introduction

We are looking for a Project Controls Lead to work with one of our major clients on a contract located in Houston, TX.

What are you going to do

Oversee performance management for assigned projects, providing cost/schedule forecasts and value of work done (VOWD) analysis.
Review and integrate Operator reports for non-operated projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of project controls (PC) deliverables.
Collaborate with Operator counterparts to influence deliverable quality, timing, and assumptions for internal reporting.
Assess Operator deliverables to align project controls with governance, assurance, and forecasting processes.
Develop conceptual cost estimates in coordination with stakeholders and the Project Controls team.
Support senior leaders, project leads, and finance teams in annual corporate planning for budgets and resourcing.
Lead or participate in Schedule & Cost Risk Analysis (SCRA) for projects.
Engage in industry events to apply best practices and continuous improvements.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance or Accounting), Engineering, or a related field.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multiple functions.
Self-motivated with a track record of accuracy, reliability, and meeting deadlines.
Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Project Controls tools and software (Unifier, Ecosys, P6, PRA, Milestone Professional, Acumen Fuse, Safran).
Expertise in Cost Engineering principles and practices.
