Introduction

What are you going to do 

As a Hydro Field Technician, you will be responsible for daily planning of earthworks operations required for upcoming scopes, including ground-truthing of proposed locations. You will also be tasked with daily pegging of future borehole locations and tracks (if required) and daily data entry of all earthworks progress, drill pad signoffs and pegged drill holes. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and rectifying hazards in the workplace.

Essential skills and knowledge 

To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • C Class Driving license
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • 4WD Certificate
  • Knowledge of working with drill rigs and earthwork equipment (preferred)
  • Previous experience on a mine site
  • Some GIS experience preferred (experience using of ArcMap program etc.)
