Introduction

Fantastic opporunity for a Civil and Structural Field Engineer looking for an opportunity in the Green energy / Renewables space based in Gladstone, I have an exciting new role for an Owner's team vacancy.
Reporting to the Field Engineering Lead, the Civil & Structural Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing on-site civil works, ensuring quality and safety standards, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely project

What are you going to do 

The Civil & Structural Field Engineer will be responsible for coordinating delivery of:

  • Concrete Foundations
  • Underground Services
  • Drainage Installation
  • Structural Fabrication and Installation

Responsible for ensuring Contractors schedules and consideration for budget constraints, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. This position requires a blend of construction and technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

The Field Engineer shall proactively manage interfaces and mitigate issues ensuring seamless scope integration into the overall project including working with the Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Health & Safety, Environmental, Social Engagement and Contracts and Procurement teams.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • On-site experience in construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures and materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient in relevant software (AutoCAD, MS Project).

Benefits:

  • $1000/day + super
  • Monday to Friday (Gladstone local)
  • 2/1 roster considered fro FIFO/DIDO
  • 6 - 9 month contract opportunity
