Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer (RLTO) to join our team at a leading LNG company.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in process engineering and optimization, with a focus on maximizing plant profitability and reliability while ensuring safe operations.
This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

What are you going to do

Identify and develop process engineering and optimization opportunities to maximize plant profitability and reliability.
Conduct tests on existing systems and processes to determine weak areas that must be strengthened.
Perform risk assessments to ensure that the company isn’t taking unnecessary risks and is prepared to handle those that are unavoidable.
Design or redesign systems to be safer, more dependable, and more efficient for the company and its employees.
Provide technical support to all company assets, identifying timely solutions to ensure asset integrity and reliability.
Develop techno-economic engineering opportunities to improve plant performance, maximizing value for each dollar spent without jeopardizing quality and safety.
Ensure process engineering activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and approved variations if any.
Resolve engineering issues that may arise and communicate with the project execution team.
Document all findings and create easy-to-understand instructions on how to best operate existing machinery to improve productivity.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering within the LNG industry.
Strong knowledge of process design principles, risk assessment, and industry standards.
Proficiency in process simulation software and other engineering tools.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
