Introduction

On behalf of our client, a global energy company, we are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their offhsore operation based in Darwin. The position will be key in providing technical and advisory support to the Offshore Management team in regards to Process Systems and relevant Regulartory Requirements.

What are you going to do 

  • Oversee technical and maintenance support for FPSO operations, ensuring optimal performance and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Analyze process performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Prepare essential process documents for work pack support.
  • Contribute to incident investigations, review shutdown reports, and conduct root cause analyses to address process issues.
  • Execute and review process design calculations and simulations to validate process changes.Chemical Management: Monitor and advise on chemical injection and sampling, optimizing chemical treatment for cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide input on asset planning, modification scopes, and oversee engineering and fabrication phases, including variation orders.
  • Support process discipline activities and contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Offshore experience with FPSO and FLNG construction and commissioning.
  • Extensive experience in process engineering, technical and operations support.
  • Experience with process engineering software tools for gas plant design, calculation, analysis, and simulation.
  • Knowledge of process safety management, plant performance, third party studies, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Australian and international standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in contractor management.
