We're seeking an experienced Poultry Veterinarian to join the team and help maintain the health and welfare of the flocks across multiple locations..

What are you going to do 

About this role
You will provide veterinary care, manage diseases, and ensure biosecurity. This role involves hands-on care, research-based solutions, and working with internal and external teams to maintain flock health and improve production.
Key Responsibilities are (but not limited to):
  • Collaborate with farm managers and specialists to optimize flock health, welfare, and production outcomes.
  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent health issues, manage disease outbreaks, and implement biosecurity measures.
  • Manage resources, budgets, and health records while applying veterinary advancements and leading emergency protocols.
  • Train and mentor staff on health management, disease identification, and biosecurity practices.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent)
  • Experience in poultry veterinary practices within Australia
  • Full Australian working rights
  • The willingness to obtain registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board QLD
