Introduction

The Farm Manager role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of broiler chicken farms, working with state-of-the-art, tunnel-ventilated facilities. The position involves providing strong leadership and management to a small team, ensuring efficient and cost-effective bird production.

What are you going to do 

We have a permanent opportunity for a Farm Manager - Poultry in regional Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Individual Farm Performance, including ongoing management in conjunction with other staff memebers of the day-to-day operations of the broiler farm allocated
  • Administration, including budgeting and reporting, CapEx applications
  • Animal husbandry and welfare
  • Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
  • People leadership

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Experience in broiler farms
  • Experience with tunnel ventilation, chemical handling, biosecurity and animal welfare
  • C class driver's license
  • Australian working rights
