Introduction

On behalf of our client, a Global Oil & Gas operator, we are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Assessor to join their team. The purpose of the Offshore Assessor is to assist in the development and competence assurance of Production and Maintenance personnel on the Client's FPSO. The Offshore Assessor will also coordinate the training and assessment schedule for Production Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Apprentices and Trainees.

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in the fields of HSSE, Diversity and Inclusion, and Social Performance
  • Be a leader in having a Process Safety focus in assessment activities
  • Lead the Competency Assurance and reassurance for Technicians
  • Schedule, communicate and conduct any required assessment of Technicians, Apprentices and Trainees for their role
  • Lead the internal validation, coaching and assurance of the Client's assessment process and line assessors to ensure high integrity of competence assurance
  • Ensure compliance with all Client Competence Assurance requirements and Client group FLBM (Frontline Barrier Management) standards
  • Ensure compliance with any regulations and standards, including those set by AQF / NSSC qualifications and competence assurance

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Offshore certifications (BOSIET/TBOSIET)
