Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a HD Mechanic to join their team on a permanent basis. This position will based at their workshop in Perth metro, reporting into the Operations Manager. Offshore and onshore site travel will be required.

What are you going to do 

  • Operating company assets on onshore/offshore contracts Aus-wide in a safe and effective manner
  • Carry out the maintenance, service, repair and modification to company assets
  • Ensure the correct and safe use of all tools supplied by the company, to return and secure them at the end of use.
  • Under the guidance of management, work to keep the depots backlog at the figure set by the company, whilst not compromising quality.
  • Maintain the workshop and yard in a clean, tidy and safe condition

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours if required
  • Knowledge of compressed air equipment desirable
  • Mechanical training essential
  • Experience with diesel driven air compressors, booster compressors, steam generators, desiccant dryers & flexible hoses
