About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in electrical cost estimation - especially across HV/LV asset management, testing, and commissioning services. You may be:

  • An experienced Estimator looking to join a company during a growth phase; or
  • A Project or Senior Project Engineer seeking a shift into estimation, bringing hands-on site and asset knowledge to the role.

The company is also open to early-career engineers who want to be trained into an Estimator position, as well as mature-age professionals seeking to contribute to and grow with an ambitious team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for HV/LV electrical services
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for accurate costing
  • Collaborate with engineering, project delivery, and commercial teams
  • Engage suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and lead times
  • Assist with tender submissions and provide input into project planning
  • Support the establishment and eventual growth of an in-house estimation team

Essential skills and knowledge 

What You'll Bring:

  • Background in electrical engineering or as an electrician, ideally with experience in HV and/or LV systems
  • Have demonstrated success in commercial/industrial/infrastructure estimating
  • Demonstrated experience in the electrical industry, including maintenance and construction
  • Demonstrated experience in estimating HV maintenance, highly desireable
  • Prior exposure to testing, commissioning, and asset management projects
  • Strong attention to detail, cost analysis and numerical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

Meeting in Real Life

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
