Introduction

We are currently seeking an experienced Blast Crew Operator with over 2 years FIFO mining experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be working for a tier one mining business with flexible rosters of 8:6 and 2/1.

What are you going to do 

As a Blast Crew Operator, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and execution of blasts. You will be required to operate blasting equipment and machinery, load blast holes and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Over 2 years FIFO mining experience
  • C Class Drivers Licence
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Current Police Clearance
