Our client is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team in Perth. You will play a key role in the installation and maintenance of all electrical systems across a large and sophisticated site. This includes working with an integrated High Voltage network and advanced lighting systems. You’ll also support the delivery of various projects related to electrical systems.

What are you going to do 

  • Perform electrical installations and maintenance across the site
  • Supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Undertake OSH pre-start contractor meetings and issue permits for authorized work
  • Conduct equipment and activity risk assessments, ensuring all work complies with safety policies
  • Report and address safety issues, promoting a safe working culture
  • Implement and maintain the Electrical Engineering Management Plan (EEMP)
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for improving plant, equipment, and systems
  • Ensure timely response to fault notifications, rectifying issues to agreed standards and providing customer feedback
  • Assist in project progress, supporting targeted project outcomes and asset ownership
  • Maintain compliance with the Environmental Management Framework
  • Promote cost-saving opportunities and adhere to the Business Purchasing Policy

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Recognized electrical trade certificate in Australia
  • Unrestricted Western Australia Electrical Licence
  • Minimum 5 years post-trade experience
  • Aviation industry experience is highly regarded
  • High Voltage Switching Ticket
  • First Aid certificate (within a year or ability to obtain one)
  • Current CPR/ LVR certificate
  • Valid Driver's Licence (Minimum C class)
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and zero harm
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proven experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and project delivery
  • Strong knowledge of OSHMS, EEMP, and safety standards
  • Excellent supervisory skills and ability to manage contractors effectively
  • Full Australian Working Rights
