Introduction
Our client, a Tier 3 Brisbane based Builder, are looking to bring onboard a new Senior Project Manager to be the driving force on some of their exciting commercial construction projects in 2024.
The projects you will be working on span across a range of industries including: Social Housing, Education, Mixed-Use Commercial and Hospitality. All of their projects are within the New Build sector up to $20m.Some more key points for the job include:

What are you going to do
Responsibilities:
- Planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Obtaining all necessary regulations and permits.
- Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
- Managing your Site Managers and Foreman oversees their work.
- Communicating with clients and delivers project progress reports.
- Continuing positive relationship with subcontractors.
- Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
- Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
- HSE responsibility in partnership with HSE Advisor and Manager Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management / a related degree or demonstrated background progressing from Site to PM level (Required)
- 4 + years of Commercial Construction Project Management experience. (Required)
- Exposure to Commercial Construction projects, ideally with a value of $10M+ (Required)
- The ability to manage and mentor in a collaborative and supportive manner.
- Drive to succeed and develop in a growing business.
