The working location is Amstelveen, with a hybrid work arrangement.

What are you going to do 

As a DevOps Engineer, you will focus on security-driven operations, pipeline automation, and advanced log analysis. Your expertise in regex, SIEM, and cloud-native technologies will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and robust security.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze security logs to detect vulnerabilities and proactively address risks.
  • Develop and maintain logging mechanisms in Azure environments.
  • Leverage KQL, regex, and data wrangling skills to extract and interpret critical insights from log data.
  • Design and maintain Azure pipelines to streamline CI/CD processes.
  • Promote and implement best practices for efficient Azure operations.
  • Configure and manage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools for threat detection and response.
  • Integrate security monitoring processes with cloud-based pipelines and applications.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, particularly in the context of security logs.
  • Advanced skills in writing Regex expressions and related code, including handling syntax like forward/back slashes.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Azure pipelines and cloud-native CI/CD processes.
  • Expertise in configuring and using SIEM tools for security event management.
  • Proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language) for querying and analyzing large datasets.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
