Introduction

A globally respected renewable energy company is seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage contract administration and procurement for solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. This role plays a key part in negotiating, drafting, and executing contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. This role is flexible on location in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with contract negotiations, drafting, and execution for solar and BESS projects.
  • Support the procurement process, including contract letting and risk assessment.
  • Manage contract documentation and compliance during project development, construction, and operation.
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting to support project delivery.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Experience in contract administration, procurement, or commercial roles within energy, infrastructure, or construction.
  • Understanding of EPC, O&M, and supply agreements in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of legal frameworks and risk management in contracts.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines efficiently.
  • Degree or diploma in business, law, construction management, or a related field preferred.
