Introduction

Our client is a leading global leader in sustainable design and engineering, they are currently looking for a talented Civil Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with civil design professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Design and delivery of roadways, stormwater systems, sewer infrastructure, and bulk earthworks.
  • Operate to a provided budget
  • Contribute to defense design projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainable practices into all design solutions.
  • Drive project timelines, budgets, and quality controls, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil design with a strong focus on roads, stormwater, sewer systems, and bulk earthworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in defense design tasks within an infrastructure context.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and deliver innovative, practical solutions.
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An engineering background with a focus on design rather than project management desirable.
  • Ability to complete calculations and numerical modelling and analysis

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
