Introduction

We are currently looking for experienced and qualified Refrigeration Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor of Non processing infrastructure, you will undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs of commercial and domestic installations in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and livability in our I&S FIFO Villages.

About this role

We are currently looking for experienced and qualified Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for:

  • Undertake preventative maintenance inspections of plant and equipment
  • Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation
  • Take a proactive role in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour
  • Participate within the Village Maintenance team to implement business plans
  • consistent with site strategies / plans
  • Monitor the village maintenance work plan and escalate unplanned and non-routine
  • activity or performance to the Supervisor
  • Perform all aspects of planned, breakdown and shutdown activities in regard to village
  • maintenance

Is this you?

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate - Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Full Refrigerant Handling Licence registered with the Australian Refrigeration Council(ARC)
  • WA Valid Australian driver's license
  • EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights Certificates (desirable)
  • Experience in commercial and domestic refrigeration system FIFO Village maintenance and operation background highly (desirable)
  • Computer Literacy to use the following systems - 1SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Proven experience in rail signalling installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report on maintenance activities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and zero harm
