Introduction

Maintain outstanding service to customers by ensuring all projects are completed within agreed timeframes, budgets and to specification.

Provide Project Management support including; design drafting, documentation, communications, manufacturing, procurement, inspections, reporting, supervision of testing, packing, loading & shipping.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and quality documentation for clients.
  • Monitor project progress, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Support procurement, spare parts function, and design of packing and loading plans.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and participate in project meetings, considering financial, safety, and reputational impacts.

Design & Drafting

  • Draft designs using AutoCAD, including proposals, layouts, and manufacturing details.
  • Design automatic sampling systems and related equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and project requirements.
  • Review and improve standard designs, and assist with upgrades, refurbishments, and spare parts.
  • Manage document control for drawings, check team members' work, and customise drawings for subcontractor needs.

Field Work

  • Willing to drive personal vehicle to visit subcontractors & suppliers on a regular basis to provide technical support and perform quality & progress inspections during manufacture to ensure compliance with project specifications and adherence to the schedule.
  • Perform shop testing of equipment as well as developing and completing relevant quality documentation.
  • Prepare & affix identification labels and shipping documentation for all project equipment and supervise the packing & loading of projects upon delivery.

Is this you?

About You

  • Experience in designing and manufacturing bulk materials handling and sampling equipment.
  • Knowledge of applicable standards, project management experience, and mechanical engineering qualifications.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and MS Office (365).
  • Strong liaison skills with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, and support in purchasing.
