About the Company:

Our client is a fast growing and dynamic Australian-owned organisation operating in retail energy sector serving thousands of businesses across Australia.

The Role:

The Pricing Analyst will support the Pricing Manager to build sophisticated pricing proposals that track market positioning and engender profitability and growth by providing outstanding customer value.

Responsibilities:

* Support the Pricing Manager to deliver accurate, timely and competitive pricing in line with the Client's Retail Pricing & Margin Policy.

* Provide insights and intelligence on pricing and market data to the Pricing Manager and CFO.

* Create and maintain a live database that accurately assesses the Client's market position against its competitors.

* Support the Pricing Manager with the maintenance of prices and products in the CORE billing system as well as government and sales portals

* Support the Pricing Manager to refine systems, processes, and work instructions to reduce pricing errors within the CORE billing platform.

* Analytical leadership and project management on pricing related projects and initiatives.

* Implementing a zero-compliance breach objective

* Prepare a draft fortnightly pricing wrap for pricing meetings and strategic planning.

Is this you?

About you:

* High-level understanding of how the NEM wholesale and retail markets work from experience

* Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science)

* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and SQL

* Strong attention to detail

* Customer focused
