About this role

Job Description:

As the Short Term Planner, you will be responsible for creating and managing the short-term mine plans and schedules while ensuring they are aligned with the long-term mine plan. You will work closely with the mining and production teams to ensure that the plan is executed efficiently and safely. Key duties include:

Create and update weekly and daily mine plans and schedules
Analyse data and generate reports to support decision making
Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the mine
Maintain and update relevant databases and systems

List of Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or related field- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in mine planning software- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the mining industry
