About this role

Job Description:

As the Short Term Planner, you will be responsible for creating and managing the short-term mine plans and schedules while ensuring they are aligned with the long-term mine plan. You will work closely with the mining and production teams to ensure that the plan is executed efficiently and safely. Key duties include:

  • Create and update weekly and daily mine plans and schedules
  • Analyse data and generate reports to support decision making
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the mine
  • Maintain and update relevant databases and systems

List of Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or related field- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in mine planning software- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the mining industry
