Ihre Aufgaben

  • Designing and crafting high-performance data processing pipelines on our cloud infrastructure, specifically tailored for large geospatial datasets
  • Building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency
  • Involvement in the complete software delivery lifecycle, encompassing design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and ongoing support
  • Active participation in Agile Software Development practices, including team sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and collaborative retrospectives
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Software Architects, Testers, and Customer Support representatives
  • Engaging as a proactive member within the global John Deere developer community

Ihre Qualifikationen

  • Possession of a university degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Over 2 years of professional experience as a software developer, focusing on backend code development using Python 3 and Python standard libraries/tools
  • Profound knowledge and practical experience in linear algebra
  • Expertise in unit testing and integration testing with mock frameworks
  • Strong understanding of modern backend architecture, including micro-services, serverless solutions, containerization, and related patterns
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in German is advantageous
