Introduction

On behalf of our client, a provider of Specialist Services to the Oil & Gas Energy sector, Brunel is actively seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Coordinator to support upcoming shutdowns located in the area of Lytton, Brisbane. This will be a casual contract at the Client's premises.

What are you going to do 

  • Be the focal point for the provision of people movement services
  • Book travel requirements through our third-party travel provider and/or client mobilisation portals
  • Clear communication of travel arrangements and immediate on-site requirements are communicated to Company employees to ensure efficient mobilisation and demobilisation
  • Handle rostering changes efficiently, ensuring effective communication
  • Liaise with client and client site contacts to ensure mobilisation deadlines are met, qualification checks are complete and additional training, medicals, flights, vehicles and accommodation are booked before mobilisation
  • Provide crews based on required skill set, ensuring all project technicians have an equal opportunity for work while meeting project requirements
  • Maintain Company portals with required qualification/medical uploads
  • Represent the Company appropriately in dealing with external parties including clients, suppliers and other Agencies
  • Provide Project Managers with support and advice on project employees
  • Maintain regular contact with employees regarding upcoming projects and works

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Resourcing projects and forecasting future resources required
  • Balancing staffing levels with the volume of projects being undertaken
  • Optimising work schedules. Identifying critical positions required on projects and identifying when to reassign resources
  • Develop short-term and long-term resourcing plans
  • Manage high volumes of workforce mobilisation within tight deadlines
