Introduction

The primary focus of this role is to provide technical support to the technical services business, this technical support might be in the form of inspections, audits or technical advice to designers and customers to generate revenue for the business and increase potential for further spare parts sales or new sampling system projects.

What are you going to do 

  • Client liaison including site visits, preparation of proposals and contract negotiation
  • Responsible for site inspections and auditing (travel required, nationally and internationally)
  • Assist the Business Manager to plan, promote and sell the business to meet or exceed budget expectations
  • Assist the Business Manager where required to prepare, monitor and report on budgets and forecasts
  • Collect and maintain intelligence related to opportunities for technical services

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, science and/or business management
  • Relevant experience in a similar role supplying goods or services to the coal and minerals industries
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Strong financial and technical acumen
