Introduction

We are looking for a Planner Scheduler to work with one of our major clients on a contract located in Houston, TX.

What are you going to do

Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across various phases.
Perform critical path analysis and scenario planning to support decision-making.
Conduct schedule risk assessments and incorporate findings into planning.
Monitor vendor and contractor schedules to ensure alignment with project timelines.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to track progress and address schedule deviations.
Prepare and present schedule reports, highlighting key risks and mitigation strategies.
Support project controls teams in standardizing scheduling processes and tools.
Utilize Primavera P6 and other project management software for scheduling and reporting.
Lead schedule assurance reviews and recommend optimization strategies.
Develop and implement best practices, procedures, and work instructions for project planning and scheduling.

Essential skills and knowledge

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project controls software.
Experience in schedule risk analysis and probabilistic scheduling techniques.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
Ability to analyze complex data and present findings to executive leadership.
