The Conventional Energy industry is undergoing continued transformation and disruptions as the world further pivots towards green energy. This issue sought to understand the factors that might entice industry professionals to either transition in or out of the industry.  Among the insights uncovered, the survey gathered data to support and demonstrate that the Renewable Energy industry is potentially enticing talent away from the Conventional Energy industry as the green economy continues to grow.  This finding underlines the industry challenge to focus and drive innovation and sustainability in order to retain and attract new talent. 

High earning potential is the main motivator for professionals to stay in the industry

76 percent of Conventional Energy employees stated this as the main driver keeping them in the industry.

92 percent of all survey respondents stated they want to develop skills that transfer to a job in the Renewables sector.
