Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leader within the Oil & Gas sector, Brunel is presently recruiting a Technical Assistant for a 12 month contract located in Perth CBD. You will provide maintenance support in preparing and coordinating technical analysis, developing work packs, and monitoring maintenance performance within the Implementation and Offshore Teams, whilst also handling general administrative duties for the Leadership Team.

What are you going to do 

A guide to your responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring familiarity with key facility risks and actively influence the mitigation of these risk in areas of responsibility
  • Assisting the Offshore Facilities in plan compliance and reporting inclusive of revision closeout and AAR reviews
  • Preparing slides for meetings such as the Asset Management Meeting
  • Supporting re-scheduling of work execution as required and identification of staged items for returns
  • Preparation of technical reports for IC Compliance management and reporting including IC/MA Measure Doc Assurance, Work order Closeout Assurance
  • Supporting administration of Audits and Investigations
  • Monitor Close out of Plan Change MOCs
  • Assisting with monitoring competencies of the Maintenance workforce
  • Monitoring expired permits associated with Core Maintenance and First Priority actions associated with Implementation Team
  • Demonstrate understanding of maintenance management systems and business processes

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the Resources sector
  • Skilled in the use of computerised Maintenance Management Systems
  • Sound understanding and familiarity of typical operational equipment and systems used to manage maintenance scopes
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP
  • Strong interpersonal skills in influencing and teamwork
  • Focus on continuous improvement
