With nearly 50 years of experience, this firm excels in designing and delivering complex steel, concrete, and timber structures, ranging from high-rise buildings to intricate renovations. Work location: Amsterdam, hybrid.

What are you going to do 

  • Independently calculate complex steel, concrete, and timber constructions.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary design teams to develop award-winning designs.
  • Review and advise on designs and calculations with a keen eye for detail.
  • Build relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Mentor junior draftsmen and engineers, fostering their growth.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • A completed university degree (preferably in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field), ideally with additional certifications in construction or engineering.
  • Approximately 3 years of experience in a consultancy or engineering firm.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with modern, paperless workflows.
  • A multidisciplinary perspective and a customer-focused attitude.
