Introduction

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Engineer to join our E&P Business Support Department at a leading LNG company.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and overseeing contracts within the oil and gas industry
  • This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful negotiation, execution, and management of contracts while adhering to company policies and industry standards.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts for various projects and services within the LNG company.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all contract activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to draft and review contract terms and conditions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for contract-related risks.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per contract terms.
  • Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior contracts engineers and other team members.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
