Introduction

A globally respected solar developer is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee multiple utility-scale solar projects in North-West NSW. This role is responsible for on-site coordination, personnel management, construction quality, and safety compliance, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee on-site execution of large-scale solar projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Manage personnel, safety protocols, and site coordination to meet project goals.
  • Monitor and control project costs, resources, and timelines.
  • Supervise grid connection processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with local governments, stakeholders, and communities to resolve issues.
  • Work closely with the HSE Manager to enforce strict safety standards.
  • Ensure construction meets design requirements, supervising progress and quality.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing construction sites for large-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills in a fast-paced project environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction management, grid connection, and HSE best practices.
  • Experience working with government bodies, contractors, and local stakeholders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot on-site challenges and drive solutions.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Relevant engineering, construction, or project management qualifications preferred.
