Introduction

Brunel has partnered with a Tier 3 Commercial Builder to help bring a Site Manager into the team. This role is open due to an increase in projects within Queensland coming into 2025!

What are you going to do 

You'll be resonsible for supervising site teams ensuring construction is completed on time and within budget.

  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure project goals are met within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company standards, prioritising a safe working environment.
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors, including procurement and contract management.
  • Perform regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues promptly.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Document project activities, progress, and performance accurately and comprehensively.
  • Implement strategies for process improvement and cost optimization to enhance project efficiency.
  • Respond effectively to any on-site emergencies or unforeseen challenges.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience Site Managing Fit-Out / Refurbishment projects $5m+ (Required)
  • New build construction experience (Preferred)
  • QBCC Site Supervisor license (Required)
  • Trade qualified
  • Strong communication skills
