Introduction

  • The Commissioning Engineer operates under the direction and authority of the Commissioning Team Leader and Operation Readiness Head to communicate all potential work tasks, to prevent conflicts in the form of unsafe conditions between all groups working in the facility.

What are you going to do 

  • The Engineer in the Readiness Operations department is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the Permit to Work (PTW) tasks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA), ensuring that all documentation is accurately completed, communicated to all relevant parties, and posted as required.
  • This role involves maintaining comprehensive reports of permits and work tasks specific to different project areas.
  • The Engineer also oversees contractor activities, assessing risks, conditions, and project priorities to ensure that work is executed safely and in compliance with project requirements.
  • By managing these aspects effectively, the Engineer helps ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree (Related Discipline)
  • Relevant disciplines certificates
  • 10 Year similar experience
  • 15 Years overall experience in oil and gas
