Introduction

The Finance Manager will work closely with the Program Director, Program Manager and Project Managers to lead the management of finance processes related to forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting in line with the project to upgrade current Energy Management System.

What are you going to do 

This role will function at the Program Office level to ensure the financial needs of the Program and related projects function effectively and efficiently. This role is critical to ensure that the Program and related projects are delivered within defined budgets and released funding amount.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Abilty to collect, track, interpret, manage and review financial information at Program and Project level.
  • Develop financial forecasts at Program and Project level.
  • Report to stakeholders, steering committees and leadership audiences about financial information, trends and outcomes.
  • Execute accurate reporting that enables robust program and process analysis and financial recommendations where required.
  • Develop business cases, optional analysis and scenario models as required to inform program and project investments.
  • Develop financial strategies that support the minimisation of financial risks and related factors.
  • Develop and measure financial metrics to drive program and project behaviour to embed prudent financial practices.
  • Manage relationships with corporate teams including procurement, legal, contracts and supply.
