Introduction
We're seeking a Production Accountant II to work with a major Oil and Gas company located in Midland, TX on a 1-year contract position
What are you going to do
* Provide technical support of a project related to Lease Flow Diagrams and Procount corrections in the state of TX.
* Perform analysis and make corrections on incorrect data for reporting purposes.
* Setup well, completions, meters, tanks, equipment in ProCount.
* Verify allocated data completeness troubleshoot issues identified in reports and resolve discrepancies.
* Preparation and submission of oil and gas production reports for state and federal reporting in NM and TX.
Essential skills and knowledge
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred
* 3 to 8 years production experience preferred
* Oil/gas experience required
* Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organizational and analytical skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task
* Strong technical skills required for analysis, interpretation and applying information
* Work well in team environment
* Strong computer skills to include MS Office Suite of products, multiple spreadsheet applications and ProCount, Carte, JOYN, eVIN systems along with government agency systems, NM and TX.
