Introduction

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join a leading LNG company.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning and scheduling within the oil and gas industry.
  • This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of projects while adhering to company policies and industry standards.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely project reporting.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project-related risks.
  • Provide support in the preparation of project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all planning activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of project schedules and related documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior planning engineers and other team members.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, scheduling techniques, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project planning software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
