Introduction

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Specialist to join our Integrity & Reliability Engineering Department at a leading LNG company.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and overseeing the Emergency Pipeline Repair System (EPRS) and ensuring the integrity and reliability of subsea pipelines and structures.
  • This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Emergency Pipeline Repair System (EPRS) based on industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop integrity management plans based on updated inspection data.
  • Plan and execute subsea inspection campaigns and intelligent pigging campaigns based on approved inspection plans.
  • Review contractor inspection reports and summarize findings for review by senior engineers.
  • Provide technical and operational support within the Subsea & Pipelines Integrity Division.
  • Manage and control contract manpower and oversee the annual budget for pipeline integrity underwater inspection activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies and promote safe practices through field-based visits.
  • Liaise with site and company representatives onboard inspection/maintenance vessels to ensure the implementation of inspection and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance and prepare technical specifications and procedures for subsea inspection and maintenance works.
  • Use intelligent pigging techniques to inspect the internal condition of subsea pipelines.
  • Supervise contracted inspection and maintenance teams onboard offshore vessels.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Subsea) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in subsea inspection and maintenance engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of subsea inspection techniques, corrosion assessment, and pipeline engineering.
  • Proficiency in using intelligent pigging techniques and other subsea inspection tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
